Hemp or Pre-folds
If you are have leak issues with hemp or pre-fold diapers, try washing and drying them again. If you are still having problems, try laying a doubler of some sort in the diaper (terry cloth works well). It just might be that your child is or became a super-pee kid and needs that very fast absorbency right away to keep up with the flow before it rolls off of the diaper.
If you are having problems with fleece or suede cloth pocket diapers, make sure the diaper is fitting your child properly. Look for gaps around the waist and legs. You can add extra absorbency by adding a doubler or extra insert. Try to remember when the child was last changed and how much he/she had to drink. There are times where no diaper can hold up to the super pee. However, if that doesn't work, you can strip the diaper. Only do this as a last resort.
