Washing cloth pads is easy. You can choose to keep your used pads in a plastic or glass container between washings. The easiest method is simply to add cold water to the jar and change the water daily. When you are ready to wash them just dump them in the washer and soak in cold water for at least 30 minutes. Wash in cold water with a small amount of detergent. You may wish to do a second rinse to be sure there is no detergent residue. Then machine or line dry. Many people find it easy to wash there pads with there diapers.
Diva Cup
Wash your hands before inserting and removing your DivaCup™. Wash your DivaCup™ well in hot soapy water at least twice a day, when in use, and it can also be boiled when necessary.
If you are in public and you need to empty your Diva Cup, simply remove the cup, empty the contents and use a dry or damp tissue to clean the cup and reinsert. Make sure your hands are clean before going into the stall. Wash your DivaCup™ well with hot soapy water at the next convenient time.
