Soft line nursing pads
LANACare has developed a new version of the nursing pad, called SOFTLINE.
Holding true to the philosophy of all LANACare products, the wool used in SoftLine products is the same soft, untreated ecological wool. The difference is this: it is mechanically processed using a new, patented method. This patented method bypasses the steps of spinning and knitting of the wool, making SoftLine products an economical choice! And as with all LANACare products, no harsh chemicals have been used to treat the wool, preserving the natural lanolin content of the wool, thus all of wool’s amazing properties!
- Most women need only 2 pairs for the entire nursing period. When one pair feels wet, let it dry while wearing the second pair. Lanolin's cleansing properties keep the wool fresh and hygienic.
- The wool can absorb up to 40% of its weight without feeling wet. When the pads do feel wet, they're warm, not cold and clammy as with cotton or disposable pads.
- Your skin is kept dry and able to breathe, allowing sore nipples to heal.
- Scandinavian midwives have, for centuries, advised mothers to protect their breasts from wind and cold to prevent plugged ducts and mastitis. Larger sizes give protective coverage over greater a portion of the breast.
- When needed, wash by hand in lukewarm water with mild hair shampoo, alternating with LANACare 20% Lanolin-Soap. LANACare’s lanolin-replenishing soap has a much higher lanolin content than most other wool-washes and will keep your pads feeling soft and soothing.
SIZES
Mini: A cup / 9 cm - 3 1/2 in.
X-Small: A or B cup - 12 cm - 5 in.
Small: B, C, or D cup / 15 cm - 6 in. (Most Recommended Size)
Medium: DD cup 18 cm - 7 in.
Oval: for woman who what the most coverage (teardrop shaped) 18 x 27 cm - 7 x 11 in.
